Malay confinement food
Mothers or mothers-in-law frequently look after new mothers. However often they leave the newborn and the parents, especially the mom in complete isolation. In these situations where the mom has to take care of the baby as well as cook and clean at the same time can be quite tiring. Which is why many moms opt for ordering malay confinement food. This gives them a chance to relax and spend more time with the new born.
Bengali cultural food –
I am a teenage girl and I can surely say that for any teenager exploring new food is a best option rather than choosing a healthy food. And being a Bengali girl food is in our culture, as we know fish is the main ingredient of our dish so our Bengali cuisine features a lot more seafoods in our dishes than any other southern countries. Some of my most favourite Bengali dishes are –
Chingri Macher Malai Curry
It’s a delicious traditional Bengali food and the juicy prawns are the star of this dish. It’s a fusion of Malai, Prawns and spices.
- 12 – 15 jumbo prawns per person.
- Paste of a small onion
- 1 Tablespoon of ginger garlic paste
- Puree of small tomatoes
- One and half cup coconut milk
- Green chillies six slit
- Spices : 1 teaspoon red chilli powder , turmeric powder , half tea spoon garam masala powder , bay leaves and salt as per taste
- 3 table spoon mustard oil and ghee or butter 1 tea spoon to ( finish off )
At last I want to conclude by saying that every food has its own specialty, taste, flavour and beauty. Sea food or fish represents our Bengali culture and tradition as we express our love and care to our love ones by cooking food for them. In every festival occasion or small get together what comes in our mind first is food. We are Indians having rich culture and vast tradition and festivals which come along with huge varieties of dishes.
